Friday's Free Horse Racing Tips

Thursday's blog tips saw 3 wins from 4 and I have a few more tips for Friday's evening cards from Bath and Newmarket, and hopefully continue on with the success.

BATH

5:30 - FRAY - 8/15 Paddy Power

Won latest by 3 1/4lengths, and just gets the vote ahead of course-distance winner Sonnetation.
Trainer Roger Charlton has a very good record of late, and overall at the course.

7:10 - SERENA GREA - 4/1 BET365

Made all last time out, and stayed on well to command final furlong. Step up in trip should be ideal. Every chance of further progression.

NEWMARKET

5:20 - AUTUMN'S BLUSH - 11/4 Paddy Power

4/10 last time out at Ascot, in first attempt at the distance. Back down in Class here, and every chance of getting back to winning ways. Trainer has good record of late, and overall at the course.

5:50 - BISHOP WULSTAN (EW) - 9/1 BET365

Has been in good form of late. Steps up in Class here and will have to find more, but every chance of  a place.

Day Dreamer is the obvious danger.

Thursday's Free Horse Racing Tips

Well, I've finally had a free night where I can get some free horse racing tips posted on the blog. Members tips for day 3 at Goodwood, including three Group races, are now live. Sign up today from just £2.50 per month, or for FREE if you sign up to one of our listed partner bookmakers, listed in previous post, or on terms and conditions page. Includes free prize giveaway competitions, which starts on 01/08/2014 - tickets, cash, merchandise and more.

So, onto the free horse racing tips for tomorrow, and a look at the afternoon meeting from Nottingham.

2:25 - SULAALAAT - No Price As Yet

Close second last time out (2/12) - ran at good pace - winner of the race, Pack Together, has since come a close second in a Listed race at Sandown a week ago.

Main danger in the race could come from the newcomer, and Roger Varian-trained Queen's Pearl, who is by top class Australian sprinter, Exceed and Excel. Also has advantage of high draw.

2:55 - LADY ATLAS (EW (price dependant)) - No Price As Yet

Newcomer gets the vote, and has every chance of going close on debut.

4:05 - SIOUXPERHERO - 7/4 Paddy Power

Only four runner set to compete in this Class 5 handicap, and it's the William Muir-trained gelding that is favoured. Decent overall record, and all six of his wins, have come at the distance. On a hat-trick.

The ground could be an issue for the main dangers.

4:40 - NO WIN NO FEE - 5/2 BET365

Favour is for No Win No Fee, who has been in good form of late. Third last time out, stepped back up in trip. Course-distance winner. Trainer, Michael Appleby has a very good overall record at the course with a 19% strike rate.

Main danger in the race for me would be last time out winner (by 5 lengths), Alpine Storm (7/2 BET365).

Best of luck with your bets, and enjoy another class day from Glorious Goodwood.

Tuesday 29 July 2014

9/4 - BET365

2:40 Ascot - Weatherbys Private Banking Handicap (Str) (Class 2)

Preference goes with the well-backed YOU'RE FIRED (EW) who came a close second last time out. Drops back down in class for today, and every chance of going one better. High draw an advantage.

15/2 - Paddy Power

I finally have an internet connection again, after a tough 4 days without! So, straight back to the free horse racing tips, and a look at Friday's meeting at Ascot. Four tips including for the Class 1 Listed race.....

2:10 John Guest EBF Stallions Maiden Fillies´ Stakes (Bobis Race) Cl4 7f

BRONZE MAQUETTE – In good form, and every chance of getting another win to her name here. Close second last time out, 2 weeks ago, at Ascot.

3:20 John Guest Brown Jack Stakes (Handicap) Cl2 2m

HASSLE – Favour just goes to the Clive Cox-trained gelding, who won at Ascot a fortnight ago over 1m 6f, and the step up in trip shouldn’t be an issue.

Currently 5/1 Ladbrokes

3:55 Woodcote Stud EBF Stallions Valiant Stakes (Listed Race) (Fillies & Mares) Cl1 1m

EURO CHARLINE - A well run third last time out, in the Coronation Stakes (Group 1), and sure to go all the way here, dropping back down from Group company.

Jockey, Andrea Atzeni has been in good form of late (21% strike rate – last 2 weeks).

Currently 11/8 Ladbrokes

Lack of Internet!

Unfortunately, at the moment, I am struggling to get the free tips posted on the blog. This is due to the thunder storms we had at weekend, wiping out my router and leaving me with no internet (or very limited, slow internet connection using my phone). New router on the way so hopefully it won't be long!

Members tips aren't being affected, although it takes a very long time, I am still managing to get them out there. You can sign up from as little as £2.50 per month, or even for FREE, just check the terms and conditions link for more information.

Trainer, D K Weld, and Jockey Pat Smullen have a 27% strike rate when teamed together in 2014.

TOOGOODTOBETRUE - Finished second on debut at Naas (different jockey). Kept on well in that race. Every chance of going one better here today, under Joseph O'Brien.

3:15 Curragh

Trainer John M Oxx is currently on-fire with a 37% strike rate in the last fortnight. But yet to win a Group 1,2,3 race in 2014, in 13 attempts.

FESTIVE CHEER - 11/4 - BET365 - Step down in trip should help after 3 fairly unsuccessful attempts at 12f, the last being a Group 1 at Meydan in March.

MANGO DIVA - 4/1 Ladbrokes - 1 from 2 at the distance, can be forgiven latest run finishing 5th over 9f. Can bounce back and get back to winning ways here. Although My Titania(6/4 - Ladbrokes) is highly feared.

Thursday's Free Tips

An average day with the member tips today, with a bit of profit, winning 1 from 2 as Billingsgate won the 7:40 at Sandown, the Class 3 Ryman the Stationer Handicap (advised at 5/2 - backed into 85/40 - second fav). Took lead final furlong and stayed on well.
The other members tip for today was from the 3:00 at Catterick, where Noble Asset was advised at 11/4 (backed into 2/1f), but he found the feared Innocently too much as he made all, to beat off the favourite.

Tomorrows member tips are now available, just check the terms and conditions page for more information, plus you can join for FREE!!

But now, I have a couple of free tips for tomorrows racing, and I start with the 6:30 at Doncaster, the Class 4 D C Training And Development Services Ltd Fillies´ Nursery Handicap (Bobis Race), over 6f, and favour is for NEW PROVIDENCE (currently 9/4 - Paddy Power), who won well on debut in Class 5 Maiden at Lingfield (good ground - over 5f). Stayed on it that race so trip over 6 should suit, and ridden by the on-fire Ryan Moore. Definite chance in debut handicap.

Danger in the race would be Polar Vortex

And next, the 7:00, and staying at Doncaster, the Class 5 All New Aygo @ Burrows Toyota EBF Stallions Maiden Fillies´ Stakes (Bobis Race), over 7f. THREE ROBINS - EW (currently 11/1 - BETDAQ - 8/1 - SkyBet) is my pick for this one, having placed on both starts to-date, finishing 3rd from 9 in both. The step up in trip may be the key.
Richard Hannon-trained - 27% strike rate with 2-year olds in 2014. 24% strike rate in 2-year old maidens in 2014.
The combination of Hannon and jockey on board, Sean Levey, in 2014, sees a strike rate of 26% on 2-year olds.

Free Daily Tips - Wednesday

A look at this evenings first race (6:00) from Sandown, the XL GROUP HANDICAP (Bobis race) (Class 4), over 5f 6y, and favour is given to GROUNDWORKER (currently 3/1 - Ladbrokes). It'll be a tough challenge, but his strong finishing can be the key to success here. Yet to win on predicted good-firm ground, in two attempts, but has finished second in both of them.
Both his wins have come with today's jockey on board; Ryan Moore. Moore has a 26% strike rate over the last fortnight.

Danger in the race would have to be Amahoro (currently 9/2 - Ladbrokes)

Sunday's Tips Results

A decent day overall, nothing more, ensuring my decision to abandon my usual Sunday's off, was just about justified.
The members tips which saw 2 wins from 3, with odds-on favourite CAPE CLEAR ISLAND (1/5f) just holding on to win the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Maiden, over 6f at Fairyhouse, beating an impressive run by 20/1 shot Windsor Beach by a nose.
Next we had the Lyrath Estate Hotel & Spa Summer Ladies Day Handicap, over 6f, and GREEK CANYON (11/2) made it another close win, as he rallied to regain the lead in the final 100 yards and just holding on from Kiss The Stars to win by a shoulder.
The third members tip did fail however, and of course, it was Darwin (2/1f), the horse I decided to go against (although reluctantly), that won the Belgrave Stakes. He led over 2 furlongs out, and was pressed strongly but kept on well. My tip SAILORS SWAN, put in an effort over 1 1/2f out to go second, before fading quickly and dropping to 4th.

As for the free tips, which came from Stratford's jumps meeting, they were a little more disappointing, first with the 2:20 SGH Martineau "National Hunt" Novices' Hurdle over 2m 1/2f, and 8/11f SERGEANT THUNDER was fairly poor as he found nothing in the tank being driven on the home-turn, and was beaten before the last, dropping to third on the flat.
Then I had PAPRADON (5/1) in the Coventry Telegraph Handicap Chase over 2m 7f, who appeared to have a tough race. The 10-year old led until headed between the last 2, ridden and faded very quickly, eased towards the finish, and appeared to finish a little sore.
The last tip was an each-way fancy on DOVILS DATE (9/1 sp), and the 5year old grey finished third. Had led a couple of times, but found no extra before the last, and made mistake at the last.

Hopefully I'll have some more tips for tomorrow's racing, so check back soon. Subscribe today from only £2.50 per month!

Sunday's Free Tips

I'm hoping for a better day today, after failing miserably yesterday, and the free tips come from the jumps meeting at Stratford, where going is currently described as Good (Good-Firm in places GoingStick 7.4), with showers expected.

The first race from the meeting is the 2:20 SGH Martineau "National Hunt" Novices' Hurdle (Class 4), over 2m 110y, with just 4 runners, there's one stand-out pick in SERGEANT THUNDER who has won 2 from 4 at the distance. First time hood being tried, suggesting trainer Paul Nicholls is hopeful of more to come from the 5-year old.

Next, we have the 2:50 Coventry Telegraph Handicap Chase (Class 4), over 2m 7f, and favour is for PAPRADON (7/2 - Coral), who is a course-distance winner, and has 4 of 8 attempts at the distance. Only won 3 of 20 on the going, but the rest of the field don't fair any better in that department.

And last but not least for the free tips, we have the 3:20 Pride of Birmingham Handicap Hurdle (Class 3), over 2m 110y, and an each-way bet is advised on DOVILS DATE (6/1 - Ladbrokes). Has won 3 of 7 at the distance, and 1 of 2 on the predicted going (the other finished 3/9 in Class 3 Handicap).
Trainer, Tim Vaughan, has a decent overall record at Stratford (over the last 5 seasons), with a win strike rate of 17%, and has won 2 of 4 races in the last fortnight.

Today's meeting at Stratford is available to watch live on At The Races.

And that's it for now, but please do check back regularly for more tips. Also check the subscription packages, they're great value, and chance to win some great prizes, including tickets, cash and merchandise.

Thanks for checking my blog, and good luck with your bets today.

Looking Back Over Today's Tips

Saturday racing once again proving why it can be a good idea to stay clear and enjoy the spectacle, rather than delve in and (try) to pick the winners. Both premium and free tips failing at Newmarket, Ascot, and Salisbury this evening. Although each-way tip BIG CHILL (Advised at 12/1 - Backed-In to 10/1), finished second, but other than that it was a poor day.
Usually I have a break on Sunday's but this week I will have a few tips. I have been looking at the Irish flat racing at Fairyhouse, so keep a look out for them.

More Tips for Saturday's Action

I have had a couple of very disorganised days, with my full-time job, once again, taking over my life! And it seems, only half the members received their emails this morning with today's tips, which I can only apologise for (once I found out, emails were resent instantly, but at very short notice to the races, so again, sorry).

Anyway, let's get back to the racing, and I've got a few extra tips for tonight's action at Salisbury

5:55 - BE BOLD - 5/6

6:25 - MARIA MONTEZ - 9/2

6:55 - BIG CHILL (EW) - 12/1

7:30 - FAJRY - 11/10

8:00 - SUNNY FUTURE - 10/3

Saturday's Free Tips

More top quality racing to look forward to today, with plenty of viewing on Channel 4 at Newmarket, York and Ascot.

So, onto the tips, and first a look at the 3:15 at Newmarket, the 666Bet Bunbury Cup (Heritage Handicap), Class 2 over 7 furlongs (July Course), which has seen 7 non-runners so far, with the likes of Field of Dream, Horsted Keynes, and Ayaar pulling out. Favour is with PROFESSOR (9/1 - Ladbrokes), who was second last time out over 6f at Ascot. Trainer Richard Hannon has a good overall record at Newmarket over the last 5 seasons, winning 16% of races.

A danger in the race for me, would have to be the 3 year old ERTIJAAL (EW) currently 10/1 with Ladbrokes.
Wearing first-time blinkers. Has won 2 from 2 over the distance. Trainer William Haggas is on-fire at the moment with a 28% win-strike rate over the last fortnight.

And that's about it for now, so good luck, and please check back later for more tips for tonight's meeting at Salisbury, and also keep a look out for the first prize giveaway, which will be coming very soon.

Friday 11 July 2014

A Look Back At The Tips

It's not been the best couple of days with my picks from Newmarket, with Windsheer and Jungle Cat both finishing second yesterday, Mubtaghaa struggling and beaten entering the final furlong, and a non-runner with Gatewood.
Today hasn't faired much better as Little Shambles and Parsley a little disappointing, although another improvement for Integral ensured there was a win on the cards (15/8). A decisive run entering the final furlong, and once Ryan Moore had got in front he was soon in demand, and the bay filly beat off an impressive run by Coronation Stakes winner Rizeena, by 2 lengths, running on well.

So, we go again once more tomorrow so keep a look out for the free tip which will be posted as soon as I can, and you can also sign up to the subscription service for more free tips, free prize giveaways and much more, from as little as £2.50 per month!

Thanks for checking my blog out, and please share it around where you can, it'd be much appreciated. Follow me on Twitter @JamesHarvey87

Wednesday's Free Tip

Today's free tip comes from the 3:10 at Yarmouth, the Holidays On The Norfolk Broads Median Auction Maiden Stakes Cl5, over 1m3y, and favour is with OH STAR (1/2 - William Hill), who was second last-time out, over 10f, and a step-down in trip should suit, on the forecasted good-firm ground.
Trainer, John Gosden and jockey, William Buick, have a good record overall at the course, and have been in good form in the last fortnight.

I know people hate a punter who offers odds-on tips, but not all my tips are odds-on (check my blog).....but today's is......sorry!

A Look Back At Today's Tips

Firstly a look at the subscription tips, and ORIENT CLASS (5/2 > 7/4f) who ran in the Colliers International Asset Advisory Handicap (Class 5) over 5f at Pontefract (3:30pm), and probably found the ground turn too soft in the end, after heavy rain fell after the first race (2:30pm), finishing 6th having been driven 1 furlong out chasing leader, before weakening the final 100 yards.

The second tip however, was not a let-down, as WOODACRE (12/1 > 9/2) WON the Hilco Appraisal Handicap (Class 5) over 1m 2f. The 7-year old tracked the leading pair on the inside, before making headway 2f out and leading well over 1f out. Ridden clear and kept on well near finish to beat Epsom Hill by a neck.

The free tips posted on the blog came from the evenings racing at Brighton, where 5 tips were advised.

5:40 - Fairy Mist       (5/2 > 7/2f)         - WIN

6:10 - Fair Ranger    (11/2 > 9/2)         - LOST

6:40 - Guilty            (11/4jf)                - LOST

7:40 - Byrd In Hand (EW) (6/1 > 5/2f)  - WIN

8:10 - Welsh Inlet    (EW) (10/1 > 6/1) - LOST (came third, but 2 non runners so only 6 ran. As mentioned, the each way bet was advised when 8 runners were expected)

A Look Back At Today's Racing Tips

Another win for the free tip today, as LATCH ONTO BLUE (sp 5/6f) made all to take the British Stallion Studs EBF Maiden Stakes over 5 furlongs.

As for the membership tips both were non-runners! I'm good at that at the moment it seems! Want a non-runner? Come to me!

Firstly the 7:20 at Windsor where Autumn's Blush was a non-runner, and also Harry Bosch in the 7:50 at the same course. I will do my best to make up for any non-runners, with additional tips in the following days, or other benefits to suit.

Check back tomorrow for another free tip, and don't forget to subscribe from only £1.66 per month, with benefits of additional top tips, free prize giveaways and more!

Monday's Free Horse Racing Tip

Today's free tip comes from the 2:30 at Ayr, the British Stallion Studs EBF Maiden Stakes (Class 5), over 5f.

And it’s LATCH ONTO BLUE which is the pick of the bunch in this one. Looked decent in his two races so far, second last time out, and can definitely go one further in this not-so-competitive race. Charlie Hills-trained, and he’s been in good form of late, with 6 wins in 32 over the last fortnight, and a 37% win-strike-rate at Ayr over the last 5 seasons.

A Look Back At Today's Tips

A disappointing day overall today with the tips, firstly with the free tip BALTIC KNIGHT a non-runner.
And the membership tips didn't fair much better, although they did all run. SEAL OF APPROVAL, running in the Lancashire Oaks, was never really in the race, with a steadied start and racing in last. It was John Gosden-trained Pomology who took the spoils, beating off stable-mate Sultanina, as she made it 4 wins from 4 starts, returning from a near-twelve month break.
Next we had the Coral-Eclipse at Sandown (3:50), where THE FUGUE probably found it a little too wet for his liking, finishing in 6th. It was Mukhadram who finally won a Group One race, beating Trading Leather by 2 lengths.

No free tip for tomorrow, as many of you are aware, I do often have Sunday's off, but check back on Monday, and keep a look out for the prize giveaways coming soon. Sign up to Gold Membership for daily tips from only £1.66 per month........Limited Time Only......First 100 members!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Saturday's Free Tip

Yesterday's free tip saw Ansaab (e/w op 8/1 sp 6/1) run a decent race, finishing third, having led the majority of the way before being headed 1f out. But it was the quality of Invincible Fresh that shone through as he made smooth headway over 2f out, leading over 1f out and staying on strongly.

As for today, there's plenty of quality racing to be viewed, with the likes of the Lancashire Oaks and the Coral-Eclipse featuring amongst the cards. For the free tip, I've gone for the 2:40 at Sandown, the Class 2 Coral Challenge (Handicap) over 1m 14y, and an each-way bet for BALTIC KNIGHT (Currently 12/1 - Ladbrokes).
Dropping back in class, second last time out (by a neck), good-good-firm ground should suit.

Friday's Free Racing Tips

As promised, the free tips are back after missing a couple of days. Friday's afternoon racing comes from Doncaster, Sandown and Warwick, with plenty of evening racing from Bellewstown (IRE), Beverley, Haydock and Wexford (IRE).

For today's free tips I'm focusing on the afternoon racing from Doncaster, which you can see live on At The Races.

And firstly, a look at the 4:00pm race, the Class 3 Kathleen Snell Worldpay Handicap, over 7f. For this, I've gone for ANSAAB (E/W) (Currently 8/1 with Ladbrokes - Use the link above to bet now).
Only 2 wins from 13 on the flat (turf) but I think another win is just around the corner, and this handicap could be it, with a test over 7f.
Jockey on-board will be Martin Harley who's having a fine 2014 with a win-strike rate of 18%, and 3 wins in the last 7 days, as well as 5 placed.
Danger for me in this race would have to be Invincible Fresh.

And for the free tips that's about it for today.

As mentioned previously there will be prizes up for grabs, but only for Gold Members, so get your membership now from only £1.66 per month (first 100 members only; £2.50 thereafter). First prize will be for 2 tickets for the opening day of the Betfred Sprint Cup Festival at Haydock, on Thursday 4th September 2014. Keep a look at in the coming weeks for how you can win these tickets!

Free Racing Tips - Blogger

Firstly I have to apologise for no free tips over the last couple of days. As I do have other work commitments, and sometimes finding the time to sit down, look through the stats and then post the tips online can be a struggle, although paid members won't be affected from this!

Anyway, back to what matters, the horse racing! The last free tip posted was STEPPING OUT, who ran in the EBF Stallions Breeding Winners Park Suite Fillies' Handicap at Pontefract on Monday (4pm). And she didn't let me down, winning by 1 1/4 lengths (SP 3/1f). The three-year old tracked the leaders before leading 1f out and running on well.

I will be back tomorrow with the free tip, so keep a look out! 2 from 2 thus far on my comeback!

Also, as mentioned, I will be doing a few prize giveaways, and the first will be coming in the next fortnight, so please keep a look out, bookmark this page, and also share my blog/site when you get a moment, it would be much appreciated.
For prize giveaways, the majority of them, you will need to be a 'Gold' Member, so take a look at the terms and conditions page and get signed up....from as little as £1.66 per month! Limited time only price!
